Alice In Chains to release 30th anniversary deluxe box set for self-titled album

Alice in Chains have announced a deluxe reissue of their 1995 self-titled album in honor of its 30th anniversary.

The deluxe 30th anniversary box set features pop-up gatefold packaging, three 7″ singles for the album’s original run of singles “Grind, “Again” & “Heaven Beside You“, 12 tarot cards, 10 custom art prints, a hardcover comic book, a 3D ballerina and zoetrope coin, a copy of the album on cassette, 2 double-sided 24×24” posters and more.

The album is certified double-Platinum by the RIAA and spawned the singles “Grind,” “Heaven Beside You” and “Again.” It also marks the band’s final studio effort with frontman Layne Staley, who died in 2002.

The set is limited to 3,000 copies worldwide, with pre-orders are available now via the Alice in Chains web store.
